Shaz, has a huge amount of experience within the performing arts world; she began as a singer/songwriter, performing her own songs within and around the local communities. Along with the qualifications gained studying performance music, dance and drama, Shaz felt ready to set up and develop the company Sister Tree alongside Margaret Polack.

Within Sister Tree Shaz has co-written and directed numerous plays and specialised performances (as shown in website) that has enabled her to reflect her diverse creativity. She has an exceptional talent as an actress and is a dynamic facilitator who delivers her workshops in a unique fashion that enables the participants to relax and to feel confident within the expression of ‘themselves’.  She is also known as the ‘crazy one’, bringing smiles to the young people she comes into contact with, leaving them with the memory of the session that will be imprinted on their minds for a very long time.  Shaz is always looking for ways to enhance her performance within the arts whether it is as the facilitator, writer, actor, director, administrator, trainer or manager, for her it is an on going organic process living and learning new ways to enhance delivery.
